The retail behemoth is offering an exclusive discount on Figo Pet Insurance plans.Independence American Insurance Co. provides coverage for Figo.
Costco Gold Star and Business members get a 15% discount on insurance.Members of the Executive and Business Executive plans are eligible for the discount, as well as the waiver of the 15 enrollment fee associated with such plans.
Members can receive up to 100% reimbursement for their pets’ medical expenses in exchange for paying monthly pet insurance premiums.Premium costs vary depending on your pet’s age, breed, and location, as well as the plan you select.To get a free quote, go to the Costco website.
Members can submit their paid-in-full vet bill online or through the Figos Pet Cloud app to receive reimbursement.
According to Costco, pet insurance plans typically cover things like
- Emergency situations and hospitalization
- Surgical procedures
- Specialists in veterinary medicine
- Congenital and hereditary diseases
- Chronic illnesses
- Illness and injury to the teeth
- Doctor’s orders
- Knee problems
- Orthotics and prosthetics
- Hip dysplasia is a condition that affects the hip joint.
Veterinary exam fees and a routine wellness plan that includes routine dental care are available as optional add-on coverage.
Costco isn’t the only retailer dabbling in pet insurance.Walmart also offers discounted pet insurance, as we reported last year.
